Preparation for shoot days/ Creating the set

This was useful as it meant we were prepared to start filming immediately as we already knew how the set was going to look and the objects we were using for each set and scene. For example the polaroid pictures hanging up in the studio where prepared in advance to on the day of filming they were put up straight away to begin filming on the set.

Mood Board

Creating a mood board helped us to gather all our ideas into one image where we could then refer back to when preparing the aspects of our music video. The locations featured helped us to know how we could position the camera when filming in each place to make it look how we wanted and show enough of the location in order to reveal more about the narrative. The clothing and make-up ideas on this was also useful to help recreate this style during the filming of the video to sell the artists star image and make her relatable to her target audience. lastly, the colours used and the aspect of polaroid pictures is something that we intend to carry as a theme throughout all three of our products to add to the narrative about a girl looking back at images of her relationship as well as the star image of a fun, friendly, outgoing 'girl next-door'.
